Synopsis
"In July 2006 I started a journey that I thought I would make alone. I still did not know that the Saharan people did not understand individualism. A human network was woven to accompany me. Barajas, Algiers, Tinduf, Rabuni and finally Smara, the camp where the prodigious elderly woman Da’da lives. The temperature was well over 50º. The day started at 6, until 10:30 when we came in from the sun after the daily chores. We enter the adobe house with a tin roof and sat on the rugs and velvet cushions. We chatted there, drinking water, tea, fermented milk and soup until 7… Da’da is seventy years old and nothing hurts her anymore, she doesn't allow herself to continue remembering."
