Synopsis
"We met women in the camps and learned of their strength. Now we want to meet with those living on the other side of the wall. We set out on a drive from Agadir to the occupied territories… We felt we were being watched over; the police were hard on our heels. We were forced to take on the ridiculous role of spies, speaking in code in case we had been bugged, or making very measured movements so as not to raise suspicions. We soon understood that Morocco used the weapons of blockades and silence; a wall that would prevent the world from learning about the situation in which the Saharans live: without freedom of expression or assembly or movement, with repression and torture.”
